For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

Tour of Beauty processes your personal data for the following purposes:

To be able to include you in our salon software system to register visits to our salon on the basis of which we can better serve you and advise you for correct treatment by being able to retrieve and view historical data
Make an appointment for a treatment more efficiently in our salon software system
To inform you if an appointment made cannot be carried out by us due to unexpected circumstances
Process your payment efficiently and error-free
Sending a newsletter or other marketing communications
To be able to contact you if this is necessary to provide our services
To inform you about changes to our services and products
To offer you the opportunity to create a customer account with which you can also benefit from the benefits of our loyalty program
Deliver products and services to you in accordance with agreements made

We may only lawfully process your personal data if we do so on the basis of a legal basis. We process your personal data because this is necessary for the execution of the agreement between you and us, as laid down in Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). How long we keep personal data

Tour of Beauty does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply a reasonable retention period for this after termination of the service at Tour of Beauty or if you have requested us to remove the personal data from our systems.

View, adjust or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Tour of Beauty and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you. Create your customer account when making an appointment

During your first treatment at Tour of Beauty you will be asked for your personal data (name and address details, telephone number and email address) which will be used in our salon software system. You can then immediately indicate whether or not you want to be kept informed of service messages (e.g. confirmation and reminder of your appointment) and/or commercial messages (promotions, event invitations and newsletters.

Create your customer account when booking an appointment online

If you want to make an appointment online via the website in our agenda, you must first register with your email address. You will also be asked for your name and address details and telephone number. We have a legitimate interest in this. We store this information so that you do not have to enter it again and again and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary for a new appointment. You can have us change your customer account information whenever you wish.

Email and Newsletter Communication

For our website, e-mail traffic and salon software system, we use external parties that handle e-mail traffic with Tour of Beauty and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our salon software system are sent via the servers of these providers. The implementation and management is done by our own employees. Your name and email address will never be used for your own purposes.

To file a complaint

If you believe that we do not take proper care of your privacy, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. This is called the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
